STOCKings of Love
No one is really sure how the tradition of Christmas stockings actually began. Nevertheless, for many of us, Christmas stockings are a part of our Christmas memories - a treasured tradition. Typically, stockings are not the only gift we receive... It's a small, yet significant part of our Christmas.
As a part of our Christmas initiative you are invited to put "stock" into the community of San Martin de Nicoya. We want to provide something small, yet significant to the people we serve.
Below are three simple ways you can give this Christmas. 100% of the funds given will be used for the express purpose stated.
Giving Levels Explained:
$20 | stocks a child with 10 meals and supplies.
$50 | stocks a family's pantry with the basic food essentials for a month. From time to time, we encounter very difficult situations that affects an entire family unit. In these special cases, we will provide them with enough food so they can prepare the meals themselves.
$500 | stocks the church's pantry with enough food to provide over 500 meals. Currently there are 153 children in our feeding program. Our goal is to feed 200 children, twice a week. This gift will help us fullfil this goal.
